QUAACK: Oregon strikes in the portal twice on Sunday

The Ducks dipped back into the transfer portal on Sunday to add two more players.

Things got started with former Washington State kicker Andrew Boyle and continued to pick up with former Nebraska defensive lineman Jordon Riley. Oregon has now taken five players from the portal and continues to pick up momentum on the recruiting trail.

First thought: poor Camden Lewis. Every year it seems like no one has confidence in him. (At least last year he showed)

Second thought: assuming that there will be some roster attrition later this week

I don't think the addition of Boyle means the coaching staff is lacking confidence in him, I think they just want another option after losing the Kattlemonster. I believe we've seen most of the attrition Oregon will see, but in the era of the transfer portal I guess you can't rule anything out.

I agree. But I thought we had Jace Feely (Jay Feely's son) on the roster also. (of course, I have no idea if Jace is ready to step up.)

Also, as you mentioned on the podcast, would be interesting to see if this is a scholarship position for Boyle.
